Why you should open an Upper Deck E-Pack Account right now.
Chances are, if you're a part of the card community, you've already heard of Upper Deck e-Pack. However, if you haven't already opened an account with them, you may be thinking that the ship has sailed on doing so. That couldn't be further from the truth.
I'm here today to convince you that you should sign up for an account immediately after you read this.
Just in case you aren't familiar, here is the quick rundown.
With Upper Deck e-Pack, you get to open packs of sports cards digitally. You get one free pack of cards daily to open, and then a handful of different packs that you can open by purchasing them. In every purchased pack, you receive one card that is automatically physical. Physical cards can either be sent to your Check Out My Cards account, or shipped to you for a fee.
Any non-physical cards that you pull are still able to be turned into a physical card once you pull a certain amount of one card.
Now, if you are like me, you still might be skeptical of the whole digital card thing. Why open a digital pack when you could just be opening real ones?
Fair question, but here are the benefits of e-Pack:
1. You don't ever have to spend money if you don't want to.
You really could delve into Upper Deck e-Pack without spending a cent. By opening up the free packs daily, you can already build quite the collection. Over time, you'll begin receiving trade offers from other users. Sometimes these trades are one card for one card, but more often than not, the trades can be 4-5 cards for your one. These trades happen because of an achievement program that Upper Deck has put in place. Certain cards can only be unlocked by collecting the set, and some users are chasing these with so much vigor that they are willing to give you more in trade value.
2. It is a quick fix for opening packs of cards:
You don't even have to leave your couch to do it- just make sure that you are not opening more than you can handle paying for!
3. It is a bridge to another important site to sign up for:
Upper Deck e-Pack has a partnership with www.comc.com. I wrote about the importance of having a Check Out My Cards account here.
I truly hope that you decide to open an Upper Deck e-Pack account, and at the very least take advantage of the daily free pack. When you do, be sure to look me up here!
