Panini offers cool tribute to the Late Flip Saunders
As a Minnesota Timberwolves fan, it's hard to believe that we are already reaching a year since his death. In Minnesota, we were blessed with having him as a Timberwolves coach two different times. Both in the 90s/early 2000s, and then from 2014-15 (Also serving as president of basketball operations).
Saunders was a man who had a huge impact on players both on and off the court, some of them being Kevin Garnett, and the young up-and-coming stars Andrew Wiggins & Karl Anthony-Towns.
Panini is paying tribute to him in the form of "Flip" patches (found in Panini Flawless) that were worn by his players to honor him after his death.
